Ukraine has once again drawn red lines in the framework of the conflict settlement. This was stated in an interview with the BBC by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and inter-parliamentary Cooperation, Alexander Merezhko.
Kiev has "three very firm red lines," Merezhko said.
1. Territorial integrity: "This is non-negotiable. We will never agree to any territorial concessions."
2. Ukraine's membership in international organizations, in particular in NATO: "Putin should not decide this."
3. Defense capability: "We cannot agree to Putin's proposals, to any restrictions on our defense capability."
Earlier, similar red lines were voiced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.
