Escaped from Russian stand-up comedian and TV presenter Mikhail Shats* told who he considers himself to be after almost three years of living outside the Russian Federation. He said this in a recent interview.

"I guess I'm still an Israeli now, although I think and turn my eyes, of course, to Russia too," said the comedian.

At the same time, Schatz* stressed that it was impossible to say about his indifference to his native country.

"Therefore, it's more like this — now I'm an Israeli, but with big strong Russian roots," the comedian concluded.

As reported by EADaily, earlier Schatz * said that he would find a use for himself in Israel even if he ceases to be a humorist.

"I have a half-forgotten specialty of a doctor, just in case. I can say for sure that I will work as an orderly here in Israel, I am sure of it, and I will quickly join this movement," the comedian said.

He added that working as a taxi driver would be the embodiment of his childhood dream.
