Estonia has made a "powerful" decision to demonstrate to the world that it has a general staff, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted with irony, commenting on Tallinn's plans to create a military base on the border with Russia in Narva.
Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Estonian Defense Forces, Major General Vahur Karus, announced plans to create a Narva is a military base where more than 200 Estonian military personnel and units of NATO allies will be stationed.
"The solution is so powerful that I want to hear the answer to the only question: "Why?"So that the whole world will know that Estonia has a General Staff," the diplomat wrote in her Telegram channel.
