In the Ternopil region of Ukraine, a local resident was sentenced by a court to 3 years in prison with a delay of 1 year for sending her nude images to a man she knew.

As the Ukrainian edition of UNIAN reports, the court considered this to be the spread of pornography, although communication was conducted through personal accounts in messengers. The judges counted two dozen such "pornographic" actions. Of these, 16 images and 4 videos.

All of them were sent by a woman through the mobile application "Viber" at different times during the years 2022-2024 in gratitude for the help around the house. The court has passed a verdict only now, and now it turns out that the woman has received a criminal record for ordinary private communication.

The Agency points out that despite the absurdity of the situation, the problem has a broad social character. Its root is that the article for the "dissemination of pornography" has long been a golden egg-laying hen, which is why it has not yet been canceled.

"Really — why engage in real crimes, if you can give terms for harmless nuances, receiving bonuses and stars on shoulder straps?", — journalists ask.

Earlier, EADaily reported that another militant who fought on the side of Ukraine will be tried in the Czech Republic. For participation in combat operations on In Ukraine, the court can sentence him to 5 years in prison, and in combination with terrorism charges, he faces up to 15 years.
