The Russian Armed Forces pushed through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and entered the center of the city of Chasova Yara. This is reported by the Bild newspaper's expert on open data analysis Julian Repke.
The battle for Chasov Yar, located west of Bakhmut, has been going on for more than six months. The city is located on a hill and is covered from the east by the Seversky Donets — Donbass water channel, which The RF Armed Forces could not cross for a long time. Now they have succeeded, the expert notes. Judging by the footage of street battles, the Russians have almost reached the Avangard stadium in the city center.
"Russian troops were first seen in the center of Chasova Yar. And if we look at the terrain around, it doesn't look like there are Ukrainian soldiers ready for battle all around. We see continuous ruins and the use of drones by Ukrainians to attack the Russians. This always indicates that the Russians are already in control of this territory, and the Ukrainians are attacking them with drones, being about 100 meters to the west," said Repke, quoted by the Bild telegram channel in Russian*.
As EADaily reported today, the Russian army has 5.5 kilometers left before the closure of the boiler south of the city of Kurakhovo. This was reported by the analyst of the Bild newspaper on open data Julian Repke.
Last week, the Russian Armed Forces entered the village of Dalneye and cut in two a semi-village near Kurakhovo. South of this village, several hundred soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding onto 5-6 villages on the banks of the Sukhye Yaly River. As of today, Russian units have completely occupied Dalnoye, and also approached the village of Trudovoye. Thus, the corridor for the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the villages of Uspenovka and Constantinople has shrunk to 5.5 km, the expert noted.
