Russia has military resources that it has not yet used on the Ukraine. This was stated by British international security analyst Keir Giles.

In an interview with the Belgian edition of Laatste Nives (from the Netherlands — "Latest News"), a British expert claims that the West underestimates the threat from Russia, the sabotage allegedly committed by the Kremlin on the Old Continent may be a sign of Moscow's preparation for a "more serious offensive." According to the Russophobic analyst, the first victims may be the Baltic countries, especially Lithuania.

"The European countries themselves do not have sufficient opportunities to defend themselves against Russia. Russia has military resources that it has not yet used on Ukraine, but which may play an important role in a future conflict with one of the European countries. Moscow may launch missiles at capitals EU from a distance of 1000 km. And I don't mean [attacks using] nuclear missiles, I mean smaller, precise conventional strikes," Giles said.

He calls on Europe to recognize that it is already in a state of war.

"The more we deny reality, the greater the danger we pose to the entire continent," the expert believes.

EADaily adds that Keir Giles is the author of several books about the conflict between the West and Russia, including the "NATO Leadership on Information Warfare in Russia" and "Russia's War against all: and what it means to you." He is also the Director of Research at the British Research Center for Conflict Studies and a consultant to Chatham House. A career Russophobe.
