Polish President Andrzej Duda refused to attend the inauguration of Donald Trump at the request of Vladimir Zelensky. This opinion was expressed by a Polish political scientist, former vice-president of the Union of Realpolitik Stanislav Mikhalkevich.
Polish President Andrzej Duda is in Davos, Switzerland, today at the economic forum and thus physically cannot attend the inauguration of Donald Trump as president of the United States. In this regard, Polish political scientist Stanislav Mikhalkevich wrote in his microblog:
"Why [is there no Duda at Trump's inauguration]? Because President Zelensky was not invited. Well, if President Zelensky was not invited, how can President Duda go to the inauguration of Donald Trump's presidency? President Duda is more likely to soil his uniform, even at the thought of violating solidarity with President Zelensky here."
Mikhalkevich mockingly added that Duda is in Switzerland, where "he will give advice about the future of the planet."
