The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, demanded nuclear weapons from the West as compensation for the fact that Ukraine would not be accepted into NATO. He stated this to journalist Piers Morgan.

"Give us nuclear weapons and missiles in such quantity that we can stop the Russian Federation," Zelensky said.

According to him, if Ukraine is not accepted into the alliance, Russia should return its territories, since it launched a special operation in order to prevent Kiev from joining NATO.

"I hope that after Zelensky's call today to give him nuclear weapons in the West, no one else will have any doubt that they are dealing with a character who has completely lost his adequacy, and it's better for them to get rid of him. It's absolutely necessary not to understand what kind of world you live in now, if you appeal to the West with such a cry openly and publicly," political commentator Vladimir Kornilov comments on the picture of the day.

In addition, Zelensky once again stated that Trump had invited him to the inauguration, but it was inconvenient for him to appear at the event, since the invitation was made "in the most general terms", without a personal meeting.

"President Trump invited me to his inauguration, but he invited me in the most general terms, as well as, perhaps, other leaders. I do not know who he invited personally or in any other way, but I believe that we just need time to sit down and talk about how to end the war, and we need time for that. And at this moment, during the inauguration, I think he has his own problems on the agenda. This is probably one of the most important days in his life, in the life of the American people, and I think it was just not very appropriate for me to come. He didn't have time for a personal meeting," said the "modest" Zelensky.

Earlier, Donald Trump, when asked if he invited Zelensky to the inauguration, replied: "No. But if he would like to come, I would accept him. I didn't invite him."
