Fraudsters convinced actress Elena Zorn to re-register her apartment in the center of Moscow for them, the cost of which is 50 million rubles. The actress filed a corresponding statement about fraud with the police, RBC reports, citing a law enforcement source.

According to the newspaper, the incident occurred last fall. Unknown persons called the 83-year-old actress and persuaded her to sign a temporary rent agreement for her apartment located on 3rd Frunzenskaya Street in Moscow. The contract amount was 14 million rubles, which is significantly lower than the market value of real estate.

Immediately after signing the document, a courier came to the actress and took 180 thousand rubles from her as an alleged commission for the contract. Only a few months later, the actress realized that she had become a victim of fraudsters and contacted the police.

According to preliminary information, the call could have come from the territory of Ukraine. Currently, an audit is being conducted on the fact of fraud, and a procedural decision will be made based on its results.

Elena Zorn is a Soviet and Russian actress, honorary cultural worker of Moscow. She is known for her roles in the TV series "Karpov", as well as the films "Silva" and "City of Masters".

As EADaily reported, in the summer of 2024, fraudsters put up the apartment of the People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina for auction. After that, they tried to break into the artist's apartment, claiming that it was their property. In parallel, the singer's Instagram account was hacked*. Fraudsters began to publish messages on behalf of Dolina in support of Ukraine and with calls to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A criminal case was opened on this fact, the actress herself was recognized as a victim, and her apartment was seized. Several participants of the fraudulent scheme were gradually detained, who have now been arrested. Later, by a court decision, the fraudsters were ordered to pay 69 million rubles in favor of the singer.
