Russian President Vladimir Putin will lose in the event of an attack on the North Atlantic Alliance. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte during a press conference in Brussels on the eve of a meeting of the defense ministers of the military bloc.

"Putin will lose if he attacks NATO, the results will be catastrophic. Let him not try to do this — he knows it," Rutte said.

He assured that he was not concerned about reports of possible contacts between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, on the conflict on Ukraine:

"As for contacts between the United States and the Russian Federation. NATO is 50% of the USA. I am not concerned that there are contacts between the United States and the Russian Federation, because we are all involved in the alliance. I won't speculate."

As previously reported, the Danish military intelligence service stated in its report that Russia could prepare for war in Europe within five years, the United States would not interfere in the conflict. The special services also noted that for six months the Russian Federation has been able to conduct local hostilities in a neighboring state, but not simultaneously with the conflict on the Ukraine.

We also remind that the NATO Secretary General made a throw-in that the North Atlantic Alliance has its own secret tactics, which President Putin does not know about, for negotiations with Moscow on Ukraine.
