Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, commenting on the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kropotkinskaya oil pumping station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC), said that in this way Vladimir Zelensky was trying to stop oil pumping, unbalance the market, increase oil price spikes and cause direct damage to the United States. As Medvedev stated, in this way the Kiev regime dealt "a triple blow to American companies, the oil market and personally to American President Donald Trump.
The day before, Ukrainian drones attacked a pumping station that provides oil transportation through the main oil pipeline of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium.
"This is by no means a Russian asset, and the oil in it is international in its legal regime. It belongs in certain proportions to different companies, including primarily American and European," Medvedev wrote in his telegram channel.
He drew attention to the fact that the CPC, among other things, is pumping their oil from oil projects in Kazakhstan — from Tengiz, Karachaganak and Kashagan. At the same time, the share of American business in oil supplies via CPC in 2024 amounted to more than 40%, and the aggregate share, together with other Western companies, exceeded 65%.
"The neo-Nazi regime in Kiev, of course, knew this. And despite the highest dependence on Washington, he deliberately struck at the assets of American companies that have already suffered significant losses as a result of the attack," the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council said.
In this regard, Medvedev noted that the "sick creature" Zelensky, "of course, remembers that Donald Trump spoke about his desire to lower oil prices."
"And a blow to an oil consortium is capable of stopping oil pumping, unbalancing the market, increasing oil price spikes and causing direct damage to American companies. That is, a blow to the CPC is a triple blow to American companies, the oil market and personally to Trump. Why bite, you ask, if you can grunt in a friendly way, faithfully looking into the eyes of the breadwinner? But the humiliated animal is in terrible despair. And the bite should prove to the breadwinner that the animal has ceased to be domestic and now poses a danger to the entire barnyard. And even for the owner himself," said the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.
