The container ship Solong, which collided with the tanker Stena Immaculate in North Sea, carrying poisonous sodium cyanide. This is reported by Lloyd's list magazine.

It is noted that the tanker, in turn, transported aviation fuel.

"The container ship Solong under the flag of Madeira collided with the tanker Stena Immaculate, owned by Stena Bulk under the flag of the USA, when it was anchored… The container ship was carrying an unknown amount of alcohol and 15 containers of sodium cyanide,"the note says.

According to the Lloyd's List Intelligence report, 36 of the 37 crew members of both vessels were found, one person was missing. The reserve rescue vessel VOS Glamour continues its search.

A spokesman for British Prime Minister Keira Starmer called the situation "extremely alarming."

As EADaily reported, a cargo ship collided with a tanker in the North Sea off the northeast coast of England. The rescue operation is conducted by the British Coast Guard. A fire broke out on the tanker, the BBC reported.
