There is no need to rush to "put on rose-colored glasses" in connection with Washington's refusal to support Kiev, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in his speech at the All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Modern Media: opportunities, Challenges, threats."

"There is no need to rush to put on rose-colored glasses now. You should always hope for the best, but still be prepared for the worst. And we must always be ready to defend our interests," Peskov said.

As the Kremlin spokesman stressed, "many are now in a hurry to put on rose-colored glasses, to say that now the Americans will stop supplying weapons or have already stopped, now [Elon] Musk will turn off his communication systems, and everything will work out for us," TASS quotes.
