"Now we are transferring the initiative to the Russian side. We hope that they will say yes, that they will choose peace. The ball is now on their side," said Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

At the same time, US President Donald Trump explained that all "details will be discussed later." But the next day from Kiev was followed by clarification. A 30-day ceasefire plan agreed between the United States and Ukraine, "is not a frozen conflict," it is "an attempt to start the path to ending the war in a fair way," said, as quoted by UNIAN, Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga. That is, we are talking about a return to the borders of 1991, reparations from the Russian Federation and similar nonsense that has nothing to do with the realities on earth.

Another telling statement from In Ukraine, it was said that the agreement was concluded to show that "Putin is not ready for peace."

There is a substitution of concepts, truce and peace are not the same thing. Ukraine's goal is to blab the transition to peace.
