The Lithuanian prosecutor's office accused Russia of setting fire to mattresses in the Vilnius Ikea store. As the movie hero said: "Excuse me, did I ruin the chapel too?"
Lithuanian law enforcement agencies consider Russian special services to be the organizers of the arson of the mattress warehouse in the Ikea store in Vilnius. This was stated by the prosecutor of the Organized Crime Investigation Department of the Lithuanian Prosecutor General's Office, Arturas Urbialis. The prosecutor was not confused by the fact that the two young men detained for arson were citizens of Ukraine.
"The collected data made it possible to conclude that the organizers are Russian military intelligence. The investigation is continuing in this direction," Urbialis said.
EADaily reminds that the fire in the warehouse of the store on Vikingu Street in Vilnius occurred exactly on Victory Day, May 9, 2024. Shelves with mattresses, plastic bags, etc. burned down. As a result of the fire, no one was injured.
