New documents on the Kennedy assassination have been released: Trump has new arguments for purges

The long—awaited day has come for conspiracy fans - the White House rolled out more than 80 thousand documents about the assassination of the 35th US President John F. Kennedy (1961-1963). As political analyst Malek Dudakov notes, Donald Trump's administration has received an additional argument in favor of the need to organize purges in Washington.

The documents on the Kennedy assassination were laid out in raw form, so it will take weeks or even months to analyze all the materials, but some interesting details have already appeared, the expert draws attention to his telegram channel.

"In particular, the long-standing theory is confirmed that the CIA meticulously monitored the organizers of the conspiracy against the president. But it did not take any active actions and did not coordinate with the FBI. Either the negligence of the special services apparatchiks or malicious intent manifested itself in all its glory. This is certainly what the Trump team will focus on, which receives another argument in favor of the need to arrange purges in Washington. Similar surveillance of the special services was conducted for the organizers of the terrorist attack on September 9, 2001, but nothing was done either. But the US intelligence community actively put sticks in the wheels of Trump's election campaign — in 2016 and in 2020," Dudakov writes.

He recalls that the newly minted FBI director Cash Patel hired a private guard immediately after taking up the position.

"He does not trust his own agents, whom he is going to dismiss en masse. And the FBI headquarters should be auctioned off, getting rid of many government buildings in Washington," the political scientist adds.

Referring to publications in the American media, he points out that the CIA has already begun the most extensive purges in almost 50 years. And the Pentagon, under the leadership of Pete Hegseth, was going to lay off 50-60 thousand civilian employees, that is, 6-8% of the entire staff.

"Democratic judges are desperately trying to block the deconstruction of the US government. But the White House ignores many court decisions. And soon he wants to do the impeachment of particularly active judges, who will simply be stripped of their mantle," the expert concludes.

EADaily adds that, according to Trump's election promises, the US National Archives published previously classified materials of the John F. Kennedy assassination case — about 80 thousand pages were posted to the public. According to American law, the archive of the case materials was supposed to be declassified by 2017, but Trump and Joe Biden gave the intelligence agencies a delay to assess whether the disclosure of information could harm the interests and international relations of the country.

It follows from the published package of documents, in particular, that the CIA and the FBI were following [the only official suspect in the Kennedy assassination] Lee Harvey Oswald more closely than previously thought, but the surveillance was organized in connection with suspicion of his links with the Soviet KGB. Another conclusion is that Oswald was not connected with the Soviet special services. In addition, an unknown person warned the Cambridge News newspaper about "big news" in the United States 25 minutes before Kennedy's assassination. It became known that someone called the FBI and reported the possible assassination of Oswald, saying that "the same group that killed Kennedy would eliminate Oswald," and also that the KGB feared that some "crazy American general" would launch a nuclear strike on the USSR. What is even more new is that FBI Director John Edgar Hoover demanded an end to speculation, saying that Oswald acted alone, and that the United States was making significant efforts to counter the influence of Fidel Castro.

According to observers who have read the documents, they not only do not shed light on the Kennedy assassination, but only contribute to a further increase in the number of conspiracy theories, of which there are already a lot.

As noted, Trump once again beautifully played to the internal audience — he not only fulfilled his election promise, but also again advertised himself as a people's advocate, truth-teller and fighter against the "deep state".
