Participants of anti-Belarusian actions abroad will compensate the damage to the state with property

Law enforcement agencies of Belarus continue to investigate the case of anti-Belarusian actions that took place abroad on January 26, 2025. This was reported by the Belarusian Investigative Committee on March 21.

It is reported that we are talking about street demonstrations that took place, including in Poland and the USA.

"Searches were conducted at the places of registration and at the objects of real property of the deanonymized extremist asset. The property and real estate are being established, which are being seized for subsequent compensation of the damage caused to the state," the UK said.

It is noted that at the moment about 400 people have been recognized as suspects in the criminal case.

"The work on the identification of accomplices of extremist formations and terrorist organizations continues in close cooperation with the authorities concerned," the Belarusian ministry also noted.

In addition, the UK reported that there is already information that the opposition abroad is preparing actions for the so-called "Freedom Day", scheduled for March 25. Law enforcement agencies have already analyzed data on potential and actual participants in these events.

"In order to identify their identities and further bring them to criminal responsibility, including using the mechanism of special proceedings. Everyone's actions will be given a principled legal assessment," the report says. SK of Belarus.
