Those Ukrainian citizens who will have the opportunity to visit the Russian Crimea will be very surprised and will not recognize the peninsula.

This was stated to RIA Novosti by the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, noting that "fantastic changes" have taken place in Crimea over the past 11 years.

In this way, he reacted to the words of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, who at a press conference in Oslo said that without Ukrainians, allegedly "Crimea is dying," since all its logistics are connected with Ukraine.

According to Konstantinov, the situation is exactly the opposite. Crimea was visited by more than 6 million tourists in 2024, the peninsula is a vivid example of the effective and dynamic development of the territory.

"We have something to show so that they don't listen to Zelensky's nonsense, but see for themselves what Crimea has become over these 11 years. If someone has been here before, they will be surprised not to recognize the peninsula. We have fantastically changed it for the better with the help of the president, the authorities in the country, the people and the regions of Russia," the parliamentarian concluded.

Earlier, EADaily reported that US President Donald Trump is considering lifting economic sanctions from Russia and cooperating with Moscow to develop Crimea as a major international resort.
