Who left from Russian cultural figures who speak ill of their native country should not be allowed back into the Russia, they should also be deprived of state awards.
This opinion was expressed in a comment to Izvestia by the head of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, director, People's Artist of the RSFSR Nikita Mikhalkov.
"To wait until everything is settled here, and to come back, and then this award will work for you here — it's bad," he said.
Nikita Sergeyevich explained that state awards have no meaning for those figures who have left Russia and speak ill of their country.
Recall that at the end of February, Mikhail Shvydkoi, the special presidential Representative for international cultural cooperation, spoke about the same thing.
He stated that those who left Russian artists who want to return after resuming relations with the United States should not wait for a "collective amnesty." And that those people who took an active anti-Russian position will not be welcome in our country.
As EADaily reported, earlier Nikita Mikhalkov called for quotas for foreign cinema. According to him, a huge number of unknown companies buy class C films that no one watches in the West and earn money from it.
