The play "Healing" with the participation of those who escaped from Russian actresses Chulpan Khamatova and Julia Aug, which was to take place in Tbilisi Russian Drama Theater on the evening of April 10, was canceled an hour before the start. This is evidenced by publications in the community of the organizer of the event — GS Promotion company on the social network.

The failed spectators are indignant that they have not received any e-mail or SMS messages about the cancellation of the performance. Under the pouring rain, people got to the theater, and only at the entrance they found out that the performance would not take place.

The organizer did not publish any official statement about this, but the company disclosed the reasons for the cancellation of the performance in the comments — "for technical reasons."

"We are up to 17:00 (the performance was supposed to start at 19:00 local time — approx. EADaily) fought for the performance, trying to "reanimate" the scenery. When it became absolutely obvious that all the methods used did not give results and there were no other options that day, it was already too late. Our representative was at the entrance, who met people and gave an explanation," explains the representative of the organizer.

At the same time, some viewers noted that they were going to the theater from Batumi in Tbilisi, one of the fans specially flew from Israel.

"For what reason did they not notify the audience that the performance was canceled? We did not receive any SMS or e—mail", "At 18.10 you can send SMS to people when they are already on the road in this weather, about the cancellation of the performance, did you not know about it before?", "Very disrespectful attitude!!!", - theater-goers are indignant.

According to preliminary data, the performance has been postponed to May 6, and will be shown at the same venue.

As EADaily reported, the premiere of the play "Healing" based on the play by Mikhail Durnenkov took place last December on the stage of the Russian Theater of Estonia. In the announcement of the production, Khamatov and Aug are called "two extraordinary stars." The production is about intrigues in a charitable foundation, which one of the heroines is trying to preserve after the death of her father.
