Russian fighters entered the vicinity of the village of Gornal in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. This was stated by a source in the North group of forces.
"This morning, the 22nd Regiment of the 44th Army Corps entered its vicinity during the fighting for the Gornal settlement, fighting is underway," a source told RIA Novosti.
According to the source, soldiers of the 30th regiment are actively working in the same area. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to disrupt the logistics of the Russian Armed Forces with the help of drones and artillery and prevent their advance.
"The enemy is defending itself and trying to hold its position at any cost. Using the folds of the terrain, they hide in various shelters in the settlement itself," the group noted.
In March, the Russian Armed Forces launched a large-scale offensive in the Kursk region, liberating the city of Sudzha and a number of other settlements.
