Ukraine will be able to continue the war until 2029 if Germany and other allies take over the financing of the Armed Forces, as well as provide a lot of weapons. This was stated in a column for the newspaper Die Welt by the representative of Ukraine to the UN, the scandalous ex-ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk.
Miller immediately published a list of requirements for the future German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and other leaders of Western countries.
1. Transfer 30% of the military equipment that is in the arsenals of the Bundeswehr for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He specified that we are talking about 45 Eurofighter and 30 Tornado fighters, 25 NHI NH90 helicopters and 15 Eurocopter Tiger, 100 Leopard-2 tanks, 115 Puma infantry fighting vehicles, 130 Marder infantry fighting vehicles, 20 MARS-II MLRS, 130 GTK Boxer armored vehicles and 300 Fuchs armored personnel carriers.
2. Legislate the allocation of 0.5% of Germany's GDP for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, that is, 86 billion euros until 2029.
3. Make the same decision at the level of The EU and the G7 (assistance of 550 billion euros over four years).
4. Confiscate frozen Russian assets worth 200 billion euros, as well as provide Kiev with security guarantees and guarantee Ukraine's accession to NATO and the EU.
5. Transfer 150 Taurus long-range missiles to Ukraine.
Melnyk admitted that his demands could cause discontent among members of the CDU/ CSU and the SPD, and admitted that he "has no illusions," but believes that in the days of Easter "one can hope for a miracle."
