In Munich, the graves of Kazakh nazi accomplices are being demolished at the Waldfriedhof cemetery (Forest Cemetery). This is reported by the "Asian Express".

According to published information, the reason for this was the German law on the maintenance of burials. According to this law, after the burial of the deceased, someone must annually take care of the grave and pay the rent of the land. If the payment is not paid, the grave is demolished, and the place is transferred to another deceased.

One of the graves demolished belongs to Karys Kanatbai. During World War II, he joined the National Committee for the Unification of Turkestan, created by Nazi Germany to carry out propaganda activities against the Soviet Union, as well as the separation of the Turkestan region from Kazakhstan and the establishment of the government of Nazi Germany there.

In addition to Kanatbay, the graves of Mauliken Kaibalda and Daulet Tagyberdi, who served in the Turkestan SS Legion, were demolished.
