Voting in the second round of the presidential election has ended in Croatia, with incumbent President Zoran Milanovic leading after the first votes were counted.
"The State Election Commission processed 45.33% of the protocols... Milanovich is gaining 71% of the votes. His rival, Education Minister Dragan Primorac, is gaining 28.98% of the vote," Kommersant writes.
As EADaily reported, the second round of presidential elections was held today in Croatia, the current head of state Zoran Milanovic, known for resonant statements about military assistance to Ukraine, is competing with the candidate from the ruling Croatian Democratic Commonwealth (HDZ) Dragan Primorac.
In the first round on December 29, Milanovic received 49.09% of the vote, Primorac — 19.35%, the turnout was 46.03%.
