American troops must leave the territory of Germany. This was stated at the BSW Federal Congress in Bonn Bundestag deputy Sevim Dagdelen (Sarah Wagenknecht Union — for Reason and Justice — BSW).
"We simply can no longer afford 37 thousand troops in Germany. That's why we say: Ami go home ("Americans, go home!". — Ed.)," said Dagdelen, quoted by TASS.
The same applies to American weapons in Germany, she noted.
Dagdelen opposed the deployment of American intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles (INF) in Germany, which she called "offensive weapons of the United States."
"We do not want a war with Russia, which would be waged from German soil, we want peace with Russia. The vassalage of the German governments towards the United States... must finally end, " Dagdelen said.
Germany deserved sovereignty, the politician stressed.
Recall, on July 10 last year, a joint statement was issued by the United States and Germany, which said that Washington would begin deploying new long-range weapons in Germany from 2026.
