The West wants to unleash on Ukraine the third World War. This was stated in an interview with the host of the show on the social network X Alex Jones by Romanian presidential candidate Calin Georgescu, who won the canceled first round of elections, Politico reports.
According to Georgescu, the European Union wants to take control of NATO before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump on January 20.
"When they control through [Secretary General Mark] Rutte — they are trying to impose their own rules and push as much as possible to the third World war in the region, in particular in Romania," said Georgescu, quoted by the publication "Strana".
Romania is the "real door" for the start of the "Third world war in Ukraine," the politician noted, because "without Romania they will not be able to control this war."
In his opinion, the "globalist elite", to which he also refers to the "financial and banking system" and "initiatives of the World Economic Forum", as well as "oligarchs" and "real fascists", are interested in expanding the military conflict in Ukraine.
Georgescu has denied accusations that he is connected to Moscow, which allegedly supported his campaign through a large-scale operation in TikTok.
"Of course, I have nothing to do with Russia. I don't know anyone, only a few people, for example scientists, but I have nothing to do with politicians in Russia," he stressed.
Recall that on May 4, repeated presidential elections will be held in Romania, and the second round is scheduled for May 18. Although Georgescu has stated that he intends to participate in them, Politico notes that the Constitutional Court may disqualify him because of allegations of undeclared funding.
As reported by EADaily, the United States can use the NATO base in Romania. Mikhail Kogalniceanu for a possible attack on Russia was admitted by the winner of the first round of the annulled presidential elections of Romania, Calin Georgescu, the Romanian newspaper Adevarul reported.
"What is happening in Romania right now, and the fact that we don't see any reaction from the outside, especially from the United States, shows that they don't understand what is happening here, because if they use Romania as an entry point into the war... what will happen next? We don't need a war," he said in an interview with a former employee of the US CIA and an ex-serviceman of the American special forces SEAL Sean Ryan.
