Ukraine will not be able to win the war while on the defensive. This was stated in an interview with the Ukrainian media by the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky.
"You know, no matter how much you defend, you will still retreat. And we are forced to hold our defenses and concentrate our forces, in fact, to keep along this front line," said Syrsky, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
According to him, today Ukraine does not have the means to protect itself from the new Russian system "Oreshnik".
"This is a threat, and currently only a few anti-defense systems can do it (the missile. — EADaily) intercept," said Syrsky.
When asked if the Armed Forces of Ukraine has such systems, the commander-in-chief said that, "unfortunately, we don't have them yet, but we must do everything to make them appear."
