Ukraine in turbulence: the existence of the state is in question — Without coal

The existence of Ukraine as a state is an open question today. This was stated in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya.

"We have entered turbulence… An open question for all of us is the existence of Ukraine as such. We are a child state, with an infantile population, infantile structure and possibilities of public administration, with an underdeveloped army. Countries that are less than half a century old, look at historical examples, often just experienced collapse. We are not a hundred years old. The attempt at statehood [of Ukraine] at the beginning of the 20th century did not end with anything, then there was a completely different story. Now we are 30 years old, this is very little," Bezuglaya said, quoted by TASS.

According to the MP, during the week she visited the settlements of the DPR, which are still under the control of the Kiev authorities.

"There [in the troops] is a shortage of people, a shortage of weapons and a terrible mess," she said.

What is happening at the front, she called "utilization."
