Ukrainian rapper and producer Potap (Alexey Potapenko) decided to take a new pseudonym because he believes that "on There is nothing left for Ukraine."
In this regard, the artist announced his return to the stage with a new image, changing his stage name to Slavic Balagan. He also launched a separate page on Instagram*, where he talked about himself in a new role.
The new image of the singer, according to his own plan, should indicate that now he is a representative of Eastern Europe, and not Ukraine.
In this new capacity, he has already planned his own tour of the United States. It should be noted that such a "change of shoes in the air" caused a mixed reaction among the rapper's fans.
It is worth recalling that since February 2022, Potap has been posing as a great "patriot of Ukraine" for a long time and poured nasty things about Russians in general and Russian artists in particular.
However, now he has decided that it is no longer profitable to be a ukro-patriot and has changed his image to a neutral European one. The artist no longer calls himself a Ukrainian and communicates exclusively in English.
In social networks, he called his main credo the desire to acquaint the world with the "reality" of life in In Eastern Europe, ridiculing the cliches and stereotypes imposed by the West.
