The creator of the Arbat battalion that fought in Donbass, the president of the DPR Boxing Federation, Armen Sargsyan, who was engaged in the training of our fighters in Gorlovka, died in hospital after an attempt on his life in the lobby of the house where he lived, in the Moscow residential complex "Scarlet Sails" on Aviation Street.

"Despite the assistance provided, one of the victims died in a medical facility," the telegram channel of the GSU IC in Moscow reports.

According to the Mash telegram channel, Sargsyan suffered a clinical death due to severe head and chest injuries, in addition, his left foot was torn off by the explosion.

"Armen Sargsyan died in intensive care without regaining consciousness. The preliminary cause is a penetrating shrapnel wound of the chest in the region of the heart," the TC indicated.

Information about the death was also confirmed by the mayor of Gorlovka Ivan Prikhodko.

"Yes," he said, answering a question from TASS about Sargsyan's death.

The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the city of Moscow has opened a criminal case (attempted murder of two or more persons; murder in a generally dangerous way; illegal arms trafficking).

"It was established that on February 3, 2025, an explosion occurred at the entrance of a residential building located on Aviation Street in Moscow. As a result, one person died, his identity is being established. Four more people were injured in various degrees of severity, they are receiving qualified medical care," the department said.

Karseladze, who has an open neck wound, a fracture of the bones of the right leg.
