Russian troops liberated Druzhba settlement in the DPR — Center group

As a result of active offensive actions, Russian units from the Center group of forces liberated the settlement of Druzhba of the Donetsk People's Republic.

This is stated in the final weekly military summary, which was published on Friday, February 7, on the official resources of the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

"The units of the Center group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defense and liberated the settlements of Krymske, Baranovka and Druzhba of the Donetsk People's Republic," the report said.

It is reported that during a week of fighting, our troops defeated units of two heavy, seven mechanized, two jaeger, airmobile, motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a marine brigade, two National Guard brigades and the assault brigade "Lyut" of the National Police of Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy lost more than 3,720 servicemen, four tanks, including a Leopard tank manufactured by Germany, 29 armored combat vehicles, including two Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, as well as a Swedish-made Viking armored personnel carrier.

In addition, 44 vehicles and 34 field artillery guns were destroyed, including three of Western production.

Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the South group of forces continued successful liberation operations in the Donetsk direction, taking control of most of the city of Chasov Yar.
