The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine has imposed sanctions against the former president of the country, Petro Poroshenko, who is currently the leader of the European Solidarity party.

According to the Ukrainian version of the Forbes publication, restrictions may be related to the possible accusation of Poroshenko under the article on treason.

According to the SBU, Poroshenko in 2014-2015 helped to disrupt the agreement on the supply of coal from South Africa to Ukraine and contributed to the establishment of supplies from the territories of Donbass, which were not controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Pyotr Alekseevich himself called what was happening a crime, the customer and executor of which was personally the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

"This crime has many accomplices: the whole Zelensky team, the Cabinet of Ministers, which was bent on an absurd idea, members of its NSDC. But the customer, the executor and the signatory are the same — Zelensky personally," the ex-president said.

He directly accused Zelensky of corruption in the army, constant lies, as well as attempts to shift responsibility for his mistakes.

Ukrainian media write that since the evening of February 12, law enforcement officers have been on duty at the house of the leader of the European Solidarity. It is quite possible that today, on February 13, the politician may be detained on suspicion of treason.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the top of the Kiev regime has begun the next stage of cleansing the opposition political and business elites. This is done under the slogan of "fighting oligarchs and corrupt officials."
