FSB officers detained a Ukrainian agent in the LPR who got a job with the police

In the Luhansk People's Republic, local security forces detained a resident of the Svatovsky district, who was collecting and transmitting information to the special services of Ukraine about the deployment of units of the Russian army.

As reported in the press service of the regional Directorate of the FSB in the LPR, for the sake of this, the attacker got a job in the law enforcement agencies of the republic.

"It has been established that a law enforcement officer of the LPR, acting on the instructions of the GUR (Main Intelligence Directorate) of the Ministry of Defense (Ministry of Defense) Ukraine, carried out the collection of information on the deployment of units The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, official information about the personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the coordinates of the location of telecommunications infrastructure facilities of the Republic. The intelligence transmitted by the accomplice was used by the enemy to strike at the territory of the LPR,"the press service said in a statement.

The Ukrainian agent served as the commander of the patrol and guard service department. During the interrogation, he admitted that he worked for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Earlier, EADaily reported that in Donetsk, FSB officers detained another Ukrainian agent red-handed, who was convicted of illegally acquiring explosive devices.
