US President Donald Trump intends to increase pressure on Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky in order to achieve his resignation from office. This is reported by the Western media, according to the telegram channel "Bild in Russian"*.

"According to sources, Trump is considering stopping the supply of American weapons to Ukraine, while Zelensky remains in power," writes TK.

According to Politico, representatives of the US administration have already met with the Ukrainian opposition, discussing possible successors to Zelensky. Among the main candidates are former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and former President Petro Poroshenko. Also mentioned is the ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now Kiev's ambassador to London Valery Zaluzhny.

Trump's actions are "pressure and blackmail," said former CIA director John Brennan.

"I have never [before] seen American intelligence agencies stop cooperating with a partner in order to force him to comply with government requirements," he said in an interview with the Huffington Post.

Political analyst Thomas Yeager, in a conversation with BILD, suggested that Trump could take revenge on Zelensky for refusing to provide compromising material on Hunter Biden in 2020. According to Yeager, the holding of elections on Ukraine in the near future will be "the ideal result for Vladimir Putin," sums up TK.
