Moscow reacted to the statement of the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky about the allegedly planned organized withdrawal from the Kursk region.
Earlier, Syrsky called the retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the Kursk region "a maneuver to more advantageous frontiers." He stressed that the main priority for him is the preservation of the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.
The corresponding comment was published in her Telegram channel by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova.
"Translated into Russian: for the Kiev regime, it's a pipe, a Sudzhanskaya pipe," she wrote.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin that 86 percent of the territory of the Kursk region occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been liberated.
