The operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region continues, the units perform their tasks exactly in accordance with the requirements. This was stated today in his account in the social network X by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
"I received a report from the Commander-in-Chief (Alexander) Syrsky. The defense of our positions in the Donetsk region and in other frontline areas ... The situation in the Pokrovsky direction has stabilized," Zelensky writes, quoted by The Guardian.
Separately, he commented on the situation in the Kursk region.
"The operation of our forces in the designated areas of the Kursk region continues. The units perform their tasks exactly in accordance with the requirements. Thanks to the Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, a significant number of Russian forces were withdrawn from other directions. Our troops continue to deter Russian and North Korean groups in the Kursk region. There is no encirclement of our troops," Zelensky claims.
He noted that the Russian army is building up along the eastern border of Ukraine, which indicates the intention to attack Sumy region.
"We understand this and will resist it. I would like all partners to understand exactly what Putin is planning, what he is preparing for, and what he will ignore. The build-up of Russian forces indicates that Moscow intends to continue to ignore diplomacy. It is clear that Russia is delaying the war. We are ready to provide our partners with all the real information about the situation at the front, in the Kursk region, along our border," the head of the Kiev regime writes.
As EADaily reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin will have to sit down at the negotiating table sooner or later. This was announced today by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at a video meeting with about 25 world leaders, including from Europe, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, on the Ukrainian agenda. This was reported by The Guardian with reference to the PA news agency.
