The agreement on a cease-fire on the Black Sea and strikes on the energy infrastructure comes into force immediately after the announcement by the United States. This was stated at a press conference by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

"We believe that after Washington officially comes out with two states, then silence on the water and silence on energy should work," Zelensky said, quoted by the Strana newspaper.

Zelensky also said that the United States is discussing with Russia the status of Ukrainian territories without the participation of Kiev.

"And the most important thing for us is that the president (Donald) Trump has enough forces, tools, sanctions, various tools to influence the Russians, on (President Vladimir) Putin, so that they end this war. We are worried about the question when they discuss something about us without us. We tell our partners about this. And we see that they raise the issue of territories. There were no agreements with us on the territories," he said.

Zelensky confirmed that Trump wants to get the Zaporozhye NPP under US control, noting that "this will not work."

"I told Trump: the transfer of the NPP will not work. It won't work without us, it won't work for Russia. No one will give electricity to the Russians," the head of the Kiev regime said.

According to him, for the repair of the NPP in Energodara will need 2-2.5 years, after which it will be able to work.

In addition, the United States offered Ukraine a new large agreement on subsoil instead of a framework one, Zelensky said.

"The American side has proposed a big agreement, their vision," he said, adding that he had not yet seen this document.

As reported by EADaily, the Kremlin press service published the main results of the meeting of expert groups of Russia and the United States on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict in Saudi Arabia.
