The Kremlin's press service has published a list of Russian and Ukrainian facilities subject to a temporary moratorium on strikes on the power grid, agreed between the Russian and American sides in Riyadh. The list is published on the Kremlin's website.
The list includes:
1. Oil refineries.
2. Oil and gas pipelines and storage facilities, including pumping stations.
3. Generating and transmitting electricity infrastructure, including power plants, substations, transformers and distributors.
4. Nuclear power plants.
5. Dams of hydroelectric power stations.
It is noted that the temporary moratorium is in effect for 30 days, starting from March 18, and can be extended by mutual agreement.
In case of violation of the moratorium by one of the parties, the other has the right to consider itself free from obligations to comply with it.
Recall, on March 18, the second telephone conversation of the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, took place this year. Putin supported Trump's idea of a cease-fire with some reservations and immediately gave the order to stop the strikes on power facilities. Kiev did not support Moscow's peaceful step.
