The appearance of snow cover in the center of the European part of Russia on the May holidays, as last year, is unlikely, because it was a unique phenomenon, but there will definitely be snow in April, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand told RIA Novosti.
"Last year was not just a rare, unique event, there has never been a temporary snow cover on May 9 in the center of the European part of Russia. But there will definitely be snow in April. In general, there is no April when there is no snow at all, the most important thing is that there will be no stable snow, stable severe cold, only temporary," Vilfand said.
