Russian President Vladimir Putin supports the idea of a ceasefire on Ukraine, but for this it is necessary to solve several issues, but for now they are hanging in the air. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov, commenting on the words of US President Donald Trump about the need to stop the strikes.
"President Putin really supports the idea of the need for a ceasefire. But before that, a number of questions have to be answered. These questions are hanging in the air, and so far no one has given an answer to them," he said.
Peskov explained that we are talking "about the uncontrollability of the Kiev regime, about the impossibility of the Kiev regime to control the actions of a number of extremist and nationalist units that simply do not obey Kiev."
"This is also connected with plans for further militarization of Kiev. All these nuances are still on the agenda," the Kremlin spokesman said, quoted by TASS.
