In the Chechen city of Achkhoy-Martan, on the night of April 10, the body of a 17-year-old boy who had previously attacked traffic police officers was found on the main square, Baza reports.
"In Achkhoy-Martan, where an attack on traffic police officers took place earlier, the body of a 17-year-old attacker was put on public display on city streets and on the square. Residents of the Chechen Republic share videos in instant messengers. On one of the streets lies the body of a young man. Presumably, this is 17-year—old Eskerkhan Khumashev," the report says.
The Chechen authorities have not yet commented on what is happening on the square in Achkhoy-Martan.
EADaily reported that on the evening of April 7, police officers were attacked in Achkhoy-Martan. A local resident attacked a traffic police post with a knife. He was eliminated on the spot. One of the two policemen who were injured died.
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the organization of the attack on the traffic police post was led by a citizen of Ukraine. In addition, natives of Chechnya who live in Turkey are involved in the attack. He promised to bring all those involved in the crime "to a severe response."
Kadyrov instructed the security forces to expel from Chechnya the male half of the families of those involved in the attack on police officers in Achkhoy-Martan, both the attacker and the organizers.
"THE Ministry OF Internal Affairs and Rosgvardiya, together with the FSB, should expel the fathers and brothers of those who are behind this from the territory of the republic. Their property should be seized," Kadyrov said.
