It's dangerous: the runaway star of "Ivanov-Ivanov" would like to return to Russia

Escaped from Russian actor Semyon Treskunov*, who now calls himself "Sam", would like to return to Russia, but so far considers it dangerous for himself. He stated this during a stream with subscribers of his account on social networks.

"It's not that I miss the birches, I just stopped understanding anything. I'm planning to go back to Russia, I just can't, it's dangerous for me now," the artist believes.

He is sure that if he returns, he will face criminal prosecution.

He also noted that he tries to talk less and think less about politics, since it is not possible to understand the situation.

"I really took a break and decided to forget about this whole nightmare at least for a while, but the acid turned out to be picky and the trip continues to this day," explained Treskunov*.

As EADaily reported, immediately after the start of a special military operation on Ukraine Treskunov* escaped from Russia and settled in Spain. In March 2024, the actor was entered into the register of foreign agents. The Ministry of Justice pointed out that he criticized SMO, took part in the creation of materials by foreign agents, spoke negatively about citizens of the Russian Federation. Later, the artist admitted that the status of a foreign agent "cuts him off not only from income ... but also from the elementary opportunity to fight, even to visit the place that I considered home, where my relatives and friends still live."

In October last year, Treskunov* was fined under Part 1 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (Violation of the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent). The fine amounted to 40 thousand rubles.
