The United States funded biological weapons research programs, which in some cases led to pandemics and other infections in different countries. This was stated on the show of journalist Megyn Kelly by the director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

"But what we are currently working on together with Jay Bhattacharya, the new director of the National Institutes of Health, as well as with the minister (Robert) Kennedy, is a study of research on the enhancement of functions in which an organism — usually a virus or bacteria — is artificially given new properties.

These studies, as in the case of the laboratory in Wuhan, as well as in many other biological laboratories around the world, were actually funded by the United States and led to dangerous experiments, which in some cases ended either in a pandemic or another serious health crisis," Gabbard said, quoted by journalist Vladimir Solovyov.
