Special forces units of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan are conducting exercises at the Orda mountain range in the Turkestan region in the south of Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Kazakh military department.
Representatives of the armed forces of Jordan and Kyrgyzstan have been invited as observers to the maneuvers called "Boundless Brotherhood".
As noted in the Ministry of Defense, the purpose of the exercises is to improve the professional training of military personnel of special forces units. As part of the maneuvers, tactical-fire, parachute and mountain training classes are held.
The units have been assigned a training task to block and destroy an illegal armed formation in the settlement.
"The exercises are aimed at sharing experience, increasing the level of interoperability of command and military contingents, individual and group training of personnel of units," the information says. MO RK.
About three hundred military personnel take part in the maneuvers. Armored vehicles, army aviation and UAVs are involved.
