The Russian missile bypassed the IRIS-T air defense system and hit the target near Bukovel in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, despite attempts by the American F-16 fighter to intercept the striking weapon, according to TC Solovyov.

"Our missile bypassed the IRIS-T air defense system and hit the target near Bukovel. Local media also write that an American F-16 fighter was raised to intercept it, but without success. Apparently, the facility was very important for Ukraine," the report says.

As reported by EADaily, earlier the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that "this morning, on November 17, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike with high-precision long-range air and sea-based weapons, strike unmanned aerial vehicles at critical energy infrastructure facilities that provided the work of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and enterprises producing military products." As the military department emphasized, "all planned targets have been hit."

As TC Readovka notes, a number of experts make bold assessments that today's unprecedented massive missile strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces on Ukraine "even surpassed all previous ones in power."

According to the results known at the moment, it can be stated that they were beaten and hit not only by electrical substations, but also by military enterprises, including the Nikolaev Shipyard (where ocean vessels have not been made for a long time, and light boats and drones are very much assembled); by ports in Odessa and Ilyichevsk (Chernomorsk), pumping stations.

Readovka indicated that the Russian Aerospace Forces used Dagger missiles.
