Chasoyarsky boilers, new successes near Krasnoarmeysk and the situation under Sudzha — review

During the first and second weeks of the coming year, motorized rifle units of the North, West, Center, South and East groups of troops continued to develop tactical success in a number of areas.

In particular, in the Limansky operational direction, the assault units of the Zapad group of forces successfully advanced along the Ivanovka — Kolodezi segment, overcoming about 2.5 km and displacing enemy formations from an area of at least 6.5 square kilometers. The advance was carried out with active fire support from FPV drone operators, T-80BV MBT crews working from closed positions, as well as D-30 and Msta-B howitzers.

The most important tactical nuance is the consolidation of Russian units on the dominant hills northeast of the Wells, which will allow in a fairly short time to carry out an assault on the Wells with a breakthrough to the tactically important fork "O-0526 - S—051021" north of the settlement of Stavka. This will significantly worsen the supply of AFU strongholds in Yampolovka and north of Zarechny.

In the Chasovoyarsk direction, coverage in the fire bag of a large fortification unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Long-II tract on the southern flank of the Yara Clock is recorded, the core of which is a bunker at the Chasovyarets dacha cooperative. The southern branch of coverage is represented, presumably, by platoon tactical assault groups of the squad of the Nimble SpN "Akhmat", which advanced from the Seversky Donets -Donbass canal to the gas station and the pond of the Velkov dacha. The northern branch of coverage is represented by airborne assault units of the 98th Airborne Svir Division advancing from the Goldfish Pond near the filtration station (in the Oktyabrsky district of the city).

Fire support for assault groups on both the southern and northern branches of coverage is provided by FPV copter operators, Nona-S CAO and MLRS calculations based on RBU-6000, as well as Su-25SM/3 links working with C-8KOM NURS with cumulative fragmentation warheads and C-8OFP "Armored truck" with combined high-explosive-cumulative-penetrating warheads. Recall that the range of MLRS based on RBU-6000 rocket launchers is only 4.3 — 4.5 km. Nevertheless, these systems are distinguished by a fairly high accuracy of combat in range and direction, approaching that of the heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A "Solntsepek".

A significant success of the airborne assault units of the 98th Svirsky airborne Forces is also recorded in the western part of the Yara Clock, where the fortification network of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the industrial zone of the Chasyarsky refractory plant got into the fire bag with an area of 1.5 square. km, while the railway station of the city with a powerful railway fork is already under the control of the South group of troops.

In the Red Army direction, the units of the GdV "Center" quite suddenly and with lightning speed broke through to the strategically important highway N-32 Krasnoarmeysk — Konstantinovka, which deprived the enemy of the possibility of operational redistribution of forces and means between these cities. After reaching the N-32 highway, one of the motorized rifle platoons of the Russian army regrouped and, after the arrival of the reserves, began to storm the fortification units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the industrial zone of the Ukrainian Bacon meat processing plant, located in the locality of Vodiane Second.

There is no noticeable progress on the southern flank of the Red Army fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The enemy formations retain physical control over Zverevo and the adjacent commanding heights on the terricons of the T.G. Shevchenko mine. The operators of FPV drones of the 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade continue to hunt for vehicles, armored vehicles and roaming mortar crews and T-64BV and T-72AV tanks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the urban development of Krasnoarmeysk.

On the northwestern flank of the Sudzhansky fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the airborne assault units of the 106th Tula Airborne Forces were able to oust the formations of the 47th separate mechanized brigade "Magura" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Leonidovo to the vicinity of Alexandria and adjacent forests. Part of the enemy infantry was thrown back to Loknya and Nikolsky. There is intense fire contact in the localities of Staraya Sorochina, Nikolaevka, Viktorovka and Malaya Loknya, which the enemy uses as a logistics hub to supply scattered strongholds in the locality of Pogrebki and on its southern outskirts.

Half of the territory of the settlement Cherkasskoye Porechnoye is under the physical control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the Berdinsky direction, where two company tactical groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted a local counter-offensive a few days earlier, the situation has stabilized. AFU groups have been driven out of the outskirts of Berdin and Novosotnitsky. Meanwhile, the enemy managed to gain a foothold in the Rozgrebli tract, as well as establish control over the 5-kilometer stretch of highway 38K-004 from Martynovka.

With a high degree of probability, it can be assumed that this unsuccessful throw is only a reconnaissance battle, while for subsequent offensive jerks in the rear forests and cities of Sumy region, a fist of up to 2 brigades with 3-4 more brigades in reserve has been formed. According to a number of sources, the first batteries of long-range 170-mm self-propelled guns M1989 Koksan have been deployed in the Sudzhan direction, which are capable of firing at points of deployment and concentration of vehicles and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Turners, Velikaya Chernetchina, Peschanoe and Stepanovka. The city of Sumy is also within the radius of the fire impact of the Koksan ACS.

On the southern approaches to Sudzha, units of the North group of forces are undermining the combat stability of the AFU fortified areas in the village of Dmitryukovka, Kolmakov, as well as in the northern part of Makhnovka and the Zamostye area.
