The Ukrainian command no longer controls the situation near Pokrovsky — Butusov

The Ukrainian command does not control the situation near Pokrovsky and Velikaya Novoselka, the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-chief and the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky are unable to influence the situation on the battlefield. This was stated by the editor-in-chief of the publication "Censor.no" Yuri Butusov.

"Another four kilometers — and the enemy will cut the key highway Dnieper (Dnepropetrovsk. — EADaily) — Pokrovsk. We are losing Pokrovsk for nothing, for nothing and irresponsibly. The Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrate their inability to influence the course of events. The enemy's advance is officially explained solely by his great advantage in forces, but our soldiers in Pokrovsk has a completely opposite opinion and believes that it is quite realistic to break up the Russian offensive and plan the defense. It's just that there is still no attempt to stop the enemy at some point. Our troops are actually continuously rushing into a counter battle, firepower is not used properly, the use of drones is limited, there is no interaction between drones and electronic warfare, lack of engineering work, significant losses of our infantry, which has no time to prepare and gain a foothold," Butusov writes in his telegram channel.

Unit commanders, according to him, speak of "the lack of command responsibility for setting unrealistic tasks, the lack of interaction ... of units, the lack of planning and organization of combat in defense."

According to Butusov, the leaders of the Donetsk groups, Generals Alexander Tarnavsky and Khortytsia Andrei Gnatov, "lost control." He calls for replacing Tarnavsky with the head of the Ground Forces, Mikhail Drapatyi.

Butusov notes that if settlements are lost very quickly, then the Russian Armed Forces will go to Dnipropetrovsk region, which "will show the new US administration on the negative side of the defense capability" of Ukraine.

Recall, General Drapaty is actively promoted to the Supreme Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya.

As EADaily reported, at this stage, generals Mikhail Drapaty or Yevgeny Moisyuk are best suited as the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in terms of mentality, vision and experience, which would increase the chances of victory.
