Last year, foreigners made twice as many sales as purchases on the Estonian real estate market. Such data are provided by the Estonian Land Department and Kinnisvara24.

As Rus writes.Postimees, most of the objects were sold by Russians and Finns.

In the capital region of Harju county, which accounts for the majority of transactions, a record 670 transactions for the sale of real estate by foreign citizens and only 308 purchase transactions were registered. At the same time, Russian citizens bought only 28 objects in this region and made 178 sales, while Finns — 55 purchases and 176 sales, Delovoy Peterburg writes.

According to the source, in the Ida-Virumaa border region, people living in Estonian citizens of Russia concluded 333 real estate transactions, and local Russians began to actively sell apartments and houses.

Finnish citizens who have previously actively invested in Estonian real estate have been selling apartments in the country for four years, the publication notes.

"The last time Finns massively purchased new properties was in 2020 and 2021, when compared to Finland, real estate prices in Estonia were relatively low and high rental yields were expected," explained broker Laime Riizimae.

As EADaily wrote, Baltic Major General Andrus Merilo, commander of the Estonian Defense Forces, voiced a very original way of waging war with Russia. In an interview with the Finnish media, Merilo stated that he intends to evacuate the Estonian population to Finland, and blow up the cities.
