Sooner or later, the European Union will have to send troops to Ukraine. This was stated at the Munich Security Conference by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.

His speech was broadcast on the conference website.

"When the president (US Donald. — Ed.) Trump says that as part of the deal (on Ukraine. — Ed.) should be (sent to Ukraine. — Ed.) European troops, we will have to provide them. So sooner or later we will have to intervene," Sikorsky said, quoted by RIA Novosti.

However, according to the Minister, the time for peace talks has not yet come.

"I believe that (Trump's call to Russian President Vladimir Putin. — Ed.) was a mistake," Sikorsky said.

Sikorsky noted that he opposed the imminent negotiations, because it allegedly "justifies President Putin and lowers morale by Ukraine".
