The second meeting of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and US President Donald Trump, which, as stated on Bankova, was expected after the completion of the funeral of Pope Francis, never took place. It is noted that Trump has already left Italy. And Zelensky met with French leader Emmanuel Macron after the funeral of Pope Francis.

The fact that Zelensky's second meeting with Trump in Rome did not take place was later confirmed by the press secretary of the President of Ukraine, Sergei Nikiforov.

Zelensky himself, meanwhile, said that a very symbolic meeting with US President Donald Trump took place in Rome, which could become historic if it is possible to achieve common results. He wrote about this in his telegram channel.

"Good meeting. We had a lot of one-on-one discussions. We hope for the result of all that has been said. Protecting the lives of our people. A complete and unconditional ceasefire. A reliable and lasting peace that will protect against the recurrence of war. This is a very symbolic meeting, which can become historic if we achieve common results. Thank you, President Donald Trump!" Zelensky writes in his telegram channel.

As EADaily reported, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and US President Donald Trump held a short meeting in Rome, where both arrived to attend the funeral of Pope Francis. This was reported by the Ukrainian newspaper Suspilne Novini with reference to the statement of the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Sergey Nikiforov.
